Walk 1: Fairford to Lechlade – northern route

Distance 5.5 miles, 9.5km

Walk 2: Fairford to Lechlade – southern route

Distance 6-7 miles, 9-11 km

These two can used together for a 12-mile circular walk, or with public bus service one way.

Walk 3: Fairford town walk

Distance about 2 miles or 3.2km – an easy mud-free walk around the town

Walk 4: Fairford water meadows walk

Distance about 2.5 miles or 4km – riverside path could be muddy. An optional extension around the lake increases this walk by about 2 miles

Walk 5: River Coln Walk

Distance about 2 miles or 3.2 km – a level walk by the river but wet at times

Walk 6: Pitham Brook & Cascades Walk

Distance about 2 miles or 3.2 km – a pleasant easy walk,but not suitable for push chairs and permissive path closed on Tuesdays

Distance about 2 miles or 3.2 km – an easy walk round the lakes, can be muddy in places

Walk 8: Fairford to Quenington along the River Coln

Path conditions generally good but can be muddy in places and not suitable for push-chairs and mobility scooters.  An optional extension is to Bibury which increases to walk by around 6 m or 91/2kms.   *Please note this walk is not possible on Tuesdays due to permissive path being closed at the Oxpens. Distance about 5.75 m or 9.14km.

Walk 9: Coln St Aldwyns to Bibury circular walk

Easy stroll through rolling countryside taking in the beautiful village of Bibury and along the River Coln.  This route can also be walked as an extension to the Fairford to Quenington walk. Distance: 6m.”
